Favouring eucalypt forests, the Scarlet Robin hunts mainly from elevated vantage points, feeding on insects from the forest floor. This bird is one of five species of red-breasted robins found in Australia.
Born in 1948, Jeremy Boot is regarded as one of Australia 's finest wildlife artists. He has completed work for major Australian natural history publishers and his paintings are widely represented in private and corporate collections both in Australia and overseas.
